This Educational Clock helps kids learn and reinforce how to tell the time. It provides both analog and digital concepts of time. The analog clock hands can be positioned anywhere you want – very easy to demonstrate the concepts of hours, minutes, before, after etc..
Besides, we put the Hour hand ABOVE the minute hand. Thus, it's very easy to rotate the hands to any directions to represent any time including 12 o'clock.
This Teaching Clock helps kids develop math skills from learning the analog clock. For example, recognizing the numbers 1 through 12, counting to 60, and counting by fives — seeing each number as a multiple of 5.
An analog clock can also teach children about fractions. Fractions as parts of a whole can be seen on the clock. When the time is 3:15, the long hand is 1/4 of the way around the clock. When it is 3:30, the view is 1/2 the way around the clock circle or 1/2 past the hour. And 3:45 is 3/4 of the way around the clock.
